تمكن منتخب ​لبنان​ من تحقيق فوز كبير على حساب ​سوريا​ بنتيجة (43-3)، في المباراة التي جرت على ملعب “سيدة الجمهور” في بعبدا، وذلك ضمن تحضيرات المنتخبين لبطولة غرب آسيا للعام المقبل. وقاد المباراة الحكم الويلزي كريس سنيث، في ظل حضور جماهيري مقبول وحضور لأعضاء الاتحادين اللبناني والسوري للعبة.
